For a measly $5 I purchased not JUST a desk, but a cool (sleep-proof) place to study my scriptures, an emblem of the years we have spent as students, and a fantastic make-believe prop for our future children and grandchildren. I couldn't be more pleased with my find. Sean wasn't real excited about the purchase right off, but when I saw him studying at it the next morning I decided he's warming up to it:) My plan is to paint it a deep red and then take some sandpaper to it. I wouldn't want it to lose it's vintage quality. Cool huh?

I think that is really cool! I cant believe that you got it for only $5! That is such a steal, thats funny Sean didnt like it at first and then he was using it the next day, so funny!
