And the Tradition Lives On...

Disclaimer- This post will make more sense to some than others.

Back in the day, 'WAY back in the back back' our high school buddies and I started this running joke involving stick figure crime scenes depicting one of us 'DEAD'! I know it sounds a little morbid now, but back then we thought it was pretty funny. In fact, I still chuckle when I hear one of them exclaim "jessica chaffin....dead." Anyway- Jeremy, Nan (both of which come from that same group of high school friends) and their cute little Tessa came to see us today. It was SO nice to have them over. While the four of us visited, Tessa spent most of her time proving to Sean and I that we have a lot to learn in the art of baby proofing. Much was askew by the time the night was over, but my absolute favorite project of hers was her rearrangement of a once boring FHE visual reminder from a lesson long past. Lets just say that the apple truly never falls far from the tree:

(We added the text...Tessa would have, but isn't able to talk yet, let alone write).

Thanks again Tessa. It's always nice to go 'back back'.
