Happy "Anything Goes" Halloween

Last year for Halloween Sean and I were the Tortoise and the Hare. Cleaver? I thought so.

It turns out that Sean thought it was more embarrassing than clever. So, a few weeks ago he informed me that this year it was his turn to choose the costumes. This was the end result-

Sean and Jessie Smith, Halloween 2008:

Ya, I know. Scary. Sean has actually been wanting to give himself this haircut for months and months. I'm just glad he held off until Halloween:) And then there is me, his Gold Digger. Those who know me well can imagine the fight I put up, but Sean just kept hanging that whole bunny thing over my head.

My first instinct was to start thinking now of ways to get back at him in 2009! But then I looked ahead to Halloween 2010...and I decided I should know better:) Here are a few more fun pictures from our Halloween 2008 activities:

This is Valarie and I with two of our adorable neighbor friends. Before heading out to our Halloween festivities we got to take these two cuties trick-or-treating.

When I wasn't walking around in tall 'floozy' boots, big mama hair and a small leopard print robe, I was a super hero:) This is what I wore to work and our Primary party. I felt that this costume suited the real Jessie a little bit better than Mrs. Gold digger, but they were both fun:)
