A few weeks back Sean and I traveled ALL THE WAY to Evanston WY to watch their hometown Rodeo. The whole 2 hr ride there we listened to Garth Brooks "Rodeo" just to get ourselves 'in the mood'. Well, it worked like a charm. From the moment Sean stepped out of the car he was 'cowboying it up' from the tip of his cowboy hat all the way down to the Vibram soles of his Chaco sandals...ok, ok, so maybe he was authentic only in his head area, but I thought for a boy raised in Vegas he played the part pretty well:)
We didn't end up getting the FULL rodeo experience because the rain and hale came through the clouds and slapped us in the behind, but we DID get to see Sean ride a mechanical bull and to me that made the whole trip worth it:) The bull operator told us the highest bucking level was 'ten'. Rather than admitting defeat Sean usually redefines his loses as gains. We listened to this city born cowboy boast a 'level four' the remainder of the evening:)
