ZION!

The end of May Sean and I, with our great friends the Johnsen's, trekked down to Zion National Park for some good-clean-summer-time fun...minus the clean:) Let's just say I have a new-found love for the 'greasy-hair shield', aka 'the bandanna'. Dirty hair, hands and who knows what else aside, we had a terrific time. It all started out with the five of us defying the laws of physics, gravity and relativity as we successfully packed 4 days worth of camping junk for 4 adults and 1 baby into 1 sedan. You heard me right, 1 sedan.

The trip continued with success after success as we hiked the Narrows...or at least a very small portion of it

...illegally swam in the top Emerald Pool...

...and survived the 9 mile hike commonly referred to as The Subway (couldn't have done it without you Heidi and Eric, for real).

Thank you to the Johnsen's as this trip never would have come to fruition without you as we all know that Sean and I are rarely organized enough to pull off such a feat. You guys are the greatest! Next time- the whole 16 miles of the Narrows! Who's down?!?
